Houston – Two people were killed, and three others, including two children, were rushed to the hospital following a crash in Houston on Sunday evening.

According to officials, the incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in the 6300 block of Richmond Avenue.

According to authorities, a Toyota Camry collided with the back of a Toyota Scion while traveling at high speeds.

According to police, the Scion impacted one tree and the Camry struck another.

A 30-year-old lady in the Scion and a male passenger died as a result of their injuries. Two children in the same car, aged five and ten, were sent to the hospital. Their injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The 19-year-old male driving the Camry was also transported to the hospital. According to police, he was not impaired.

There have been no charges filed at this time. The investigation continues.
